Web Manager

GiveLight Foundation is currently seeking a qualified in-house Web Manager with experience in web-master and graphic design for 20-25 hours per week. This position is a paid part-time addition to our staff team.

The position will play a key role in IT organization with responsibility for website design, maintenance, operation of our online presence. The Web Manager will also support marketing activities such as email and direct mail campaigns, and online events. The ideal candidate will have experience in web design. Knowledge of SEO and video editing skills are a plus. Reporting to the Director of Operations, the position will be a key part of the organization’s communications team.

The individual will work closely with the CEO and the management team and will collaborate with staff from across the organization on a variety of web, graphics, and related tasks.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

- Handles the day-to-day maintenance and operation of the website, including incorporating new technologies, regularly updating the content, and on-going enhancements.

- Works collaboratively with staff/volunteers to edit and post online content. -Understand current web performance using Google Analytics and recommend improvement areas.

- Support posting activities such as Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, and other interactive social media tools and platforms.

- Provides documentation of web best practices and all web pages and code comply with appropriate policies, guidelines, and standards.

- Effectively manages, warehouses, and catalogs all website content assets.

- Supports the web components of ongoing marketing campaigns, landing pages, forms, auto-responses, and subscriptions.

- Creates and publishes various email newsletters; Proofreads and fact-checks the organization’s online newsletter. Designs and produces subject-matter reports and the organization’s all-digital annual report.

- Able to handle multiple priorities and meeting tight deadlines without compromising design integrity.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE

- Minimum requirement of an Associate Degree or Technical Certificate. Students in their junior/senior year of their bachelor’s degree and who have strong technical, digital marketing, web/graphic design classroom experience are highly encouraged to apply.
